ABOUT
Durasteel is a composite panel of fibre reinforced cement mechanically bonded to punch steel sheets on both surfaces. The steel surface is easily painted and also comes galvanised or stainless steel.
Blockade Barriers Durasteel systems are high impact and explosion resistant which enables it to withstand prolonged exposure to fire of the cellulosic hydrocarbon or jet fire types.
Durasteel can be used externally and is not susceptible to damage often caused by moisture.
Blockade barrier Systems are supplied in a modular kit form that can range up to 10 metres high and can be demountable for relocation.
Our range of Fire and Blast barriers are certified to BS 476: Part 22 for up to 240 integrity and 240 minutes insulation.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Durasteel Blast Barriers are tested for single and double skin partitions up to 15 m high in terms of AS 1530.4 -205.
Fire resistance of up to 240 minutes in terms of structural adequacy and integrity, for double skin partitions, up to 60, 120, or 240 minutes in terms of the insulation.
